Charleston Photographer Amy Gerhardt
Amy Gerhardt specializes in diverse studio portrait photography, including individual, family (up to five), maternity, fantasy & fairytale art, professional headshots, and sensual fine art for women. She also captures portraits of children (8+) and pets.
Amy's unique approach as a digital composite master allows for limitless creativity in her studio or your home with her portable setup. Known as the "photographer's photographer," she collaborates with colleagues to create stunning personal portraits.
Holiday Sessions
During the holiday season, Amy offers Christmas mini sessions and Santa portraits through private pop-up events starting in October, with additional Christmas-themed sessions available in the studio.
Year-Round Photography
Year-round, she provides environmental and on-location photography in Charleston, with sessions available at sunrise or sunset. Home studio sessions are offered in Goose Creek.

My studio location
My commercial studio is located at 1316 Rutledge Avenue, near downtown Charleston- just 4 minutes from Hampton Park and The Citadel. My home studio is located in Goose Creek near the Charleston Naval Weapons station. The commercial studio on Rutledge is also known as the Rutledge Avenue Business complex, which resembles a white church, with free parking available across from the former Rutledge Cab Company restaurant. The building is handicap accessible and offers restrooms and a comfortable waiting area. Pink Chair Photography is a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
