Planning Your Portrait Session
Where sessions take place
• Pink Chair Photography is a dedicated fine art portrait studio located in the Liberty Hall Plantation neighborhood of Goose Creek, serving clients throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry.
• Studio sessions focus on elegant, artfully composed portraits created in a professional indoor environment.
• Environmental portraits are also available on location throughout the region for clients who prefer to be photographed in meaningful spaces.
Scheduling your session
• All sessions are scheduled by appointment only. The studio does not offer walk-in hours. You may book as early as 8 weeks before your preferred session date.
• Indoor studio sessions offer flexible scheduling throughout the week.
• Outdoor sessions are scheduled around sunrise or sunset during fall, winter, and spring to ensure the most flattering natural light.
• Due to the extreme heat and humidity of Lowcountry summers, summer sessions are limited to climate-controlled locations.
How booking works
• Once a session request is submitted, your preferred date will be held for 24 hours.
• A $150 non-refundable retainer confirms the appointment and reserves your time in the calendar. The retainer goes toward your total investment and is only non-refundable if you cancel without rescheduling. Your balance will be due 7 days before your appointment.
• If the retainer is not received within 24 hours, the date is released for other clients and your request is cancelled.

Share a little about what you’re looking for and your preferred session timing. This helps determine whether a studio or environmental session is the best fit.
2. Consultation & Planning
You’ll receive a personal response to discuss ideas, location options, and scheduling details so the session reflects your style and goals.
3. Your Portrait Session
Your session is photographed either in the studio or on location, with attention to lighting, composition, and creating a relaxed environment.
4. Image Delivery
Final edited portraits are delivered through a private online gallery for viewing, downloading, and selecting images for print or digital use.
