What happens after you reach out
Submit the form, and I’ll email over the complete details and transparent pricing. You'll get a quick text to ensure it didn't land in spam—and that’s it. No surprise phone calls, no aggressive sales scripts, and no pressure.
Take some time to decide if my work is the right fit. If you love it and want to move forward, you can easily choose a convenient time for a brief call to customize your session.
Please note: To give every client my full artistic focus, I only accept a select number of commissions each month. Once those spots are filled, the calendar closes so I can dedicate 100% of my time to creating each portrait.

Frequently asked questions
Charleston Portrait Studio & Location Photography
Where is your portrait studio located, and what areas do you serve?
Pink Chair Photography is a private, boutique portrait studio located in Goose Creek, South Carolina—just minutes from downtown Charleston. I provide fine art portraiture and professional headshots for clients across the Greater Charleston area, including Summerville, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, Hanahan, and Daniel Island.
Do you offer indoor studio portraits or outdoor photo sessions?
Both! My Goose Creek studio offers a private, climate-controlled environment with maximum comfort year-round. On-location outdoor sessions are available seasonally during spring, fall, and winter. To ensure client comfort and optimal lighting during extreme South Carolina heat, summer sessions are strictly studio-only.
Charleston Corporate Headshots & Personal Branding
Where can I get professional headshots taken in Charleston, SC?
I offer individual professional headshots and creative business portraits at my private studio, as well as on-location corporate headshot events for businesses, medical practices, and executive teams across the Charleston Lowcountry.
What is the difference between an individual headshot and a corporate team session?
-
Individual Headshot Session: A dedicated, one-on-one studio session tailored for executive branding, LinkedIn profiles, ERAS applications, and commercial websites.
-
Corporate Headshot Event: A streamlined group session designed to photograph an entire company or department, ensuring consistent lighting, professional backdrop matching, and cohesive corporate branding.
Can you bring a mobile headshot studio to our Charleston office?
Yes, mobile studio setups are available depending on your team's size:
-
Teams of 20+: I bring a full mobile studio setup directly to your office or corporate event location.
-
Teams of 6–19: Scheduled as sequential individual appointments at my studio.
-
Teams of 5 or fewer: Booked as a single group block at the studio.
How do I get pricing for corporate headshots or group rates?
Half-day and full-day event rates are listed directly on my Corporate Headshot Request Form. If you have custom group sizing or specific branding guidelines, contact me directly for a custom proposal.
Studio Logistics & Artist Credentials
Do you provide hair and makeup services at the studio?
Clients must arrive photo-ready with hair and makeup complete. To preserve quiet, private session times for each guest, on-site styling is not accommodated in the studio. A curated list of top-rated Charleston hair and makeup artists is available upon request prior to your shoot.
What makes Pink Chair Photography unique among Charleston portrait artists?
Unlike high-volume or quick-turnaround digital studios, I specialize in painterly, Old Masters-inspired fine art portraiture alongside modern, polished corporate headshots. Every single portrait undergoes meticulous, signature hand-editing to transform standard photography into timeless art.
Is Pink Chair Photography an award-winning portrait studio?
Yes. Pink Chair Photography has been voted Best of South Carolina in the Professional Headshot Photographers category by The Guide to South Carolina, named a two-time Photographer of the Year, and recognized as Artist of the Year. I hold a Master of Photography (M.Photog.) degree through Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and am an active member of the American Society of Photographers (ASP).
