Charleston Studio Portrait Photographer
What happens after you reach out
No surprise phone calls. No pressure. No rushing.
Because I accept only a limited number of commissions each month to ensure this level of dedicated care, my entire process is built on absolute respect for your time. All investments are listed with no hidden fees or bait-and-switch tactics. You will know if the cost is within your budget before you even reach out.
You send the intake form → I reply with everything you ask about → I send a quick text just to ensure the details didn’t land in your spam folder.
From there, take your time reading it. Sit with it. Think it over. If you feel I am the right fit for your visual goals and want to move forward, you choose a time for a short phone call that fits your schedule.
The goal is simple: calm communication, clear expectations, and zero sales-pitch energy. Because this deliberate, slow-paced approach requires a significant block of dedicated studio time for each client, calendar space is naturally limited.
If I am the right match for your portrait needs, wonderful. If not, that’s okay, too.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I find a portrait studio near Charleston?
Pink Chair Photography is a private portrait studio located in Goose Creek, South Carolina. I provide professional fine art portraiture and headshots throughout the greater Charleston area, including Summerville, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, and Hanahan.
Do you offer studio sessions, on-location shoots, or both?
Both. In-studio portrait sessions offer year-round climate control and maximum privacy. On-location photography sessions are available seasonally (spring, fall, and winter). Due to extreme South Carolina heat, summer sessions are strictly studio-only.
Charleston Corporate Headshots
Do you offer corporate headshots in Charleston?
Yes. I specialize in individual professional headshots, personal branding photography, and on-location corporate headshot events for businesses and teams throughout the Charleston Lowcountry.
What's the difference between a standard headshot and a corporate headshot event?
Standard Headshot: An individual studio session tailored for personal branding, resumes, or LinkedIn profiles.
Corporate Headshot Event: A team session designed to photograph an entire company, ensuring matching backgrounds and consistent corporate branding.
Can you come to our office for team headshots?
Yes, depending on your team size:
Teams of 20+: Includes a full mobile studio setup brought directly to your corporate office.
Teams of 6–19: Scheduled sequentially as individual appointments at my Goose Creek studio.
Teams of 5 or fewer: Booked together as a single group block at the studio.
How do I get pricing for a corporate headshot event?
Half-day and full-day corporate rates are listed directly on the Corporate Headshot Request Form. For custom group sizes or specific corporate branding needs, please contact me directly for a custom quote.
Logistics & Credentials
Should I arrive with hair and makeup already done?
Yes. Clients must arrive photo-ready. Studio availability is strictly reserved for photography; on-site hair and makeup styling cannot be accommodated. A preferred list of local Charleston hair and makeup artists is available upon request.
What makes Pink Chair Photography different from other Charleston photographers?
Unlike high-volume digital studios, I specialize in painterly, Renaissance-inspired fine art portraiture alongside clean, modern corporate headshots. Each image undergoes a signature hand-editing process to create a timeless, masterpiece look.
Is Pink Chair Photography award-winning?
Yes. Pink Chair Photography is an award-winning studio, voted Best of South Carolina for corporate headshots, a two-time Photographer of the Year, and Artist of the Year. I hold a Master of Photography degree through PPA and am a member of the American Society of Photographers.
